The Georgian Peaks Club was originally founded in 1960 by Ian "Buck" Rogers. Buck chose the location for its elevation, over 800 feet, 250 feet higher that anywhere else in the area. The original Members knew they had signed up for an adventure. They brought in their old friends and business associates, forged new friendships that would last for decades, and put their hearts and a lot of time into making the Georgian Peaks Club exactly the vibrant and close-knit Club is remains today.
