COVID-19 Update: February 19, 20201

2/19/2021

Hello Peaks Family,

What a fantastic few days of skiing! The sun has been out, the snow surface is terrific and everyone is enjoying our new Lodge. Seeing our Peaks Family bonding in the new Lodge is a wonderful sight but I need your help to keep it that way.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit and Town of Blue Mountains bylaw officers have advised us that they will be visiting our Club to conduct compliance inspections. These visits will be unannounced and any infractions of the guidelines could result in the closing down of our Lodge and/or skiing privileges. It is up to all of us to follow the rules set out by the Health Unit, The Town and the Club.

· A face mask is required to be worn at all times when on the deck, unless actively eating or drinking.

· Members must remain seated at a table or Muskoka Chair unless entering or exiting the deck.

CHAIRLIFT RULES

· Members and Guests will be required to wear face coverings at all times in lift lines, loading and unloading the chairlift.

· As previously stated the protocol for riding the chairlift was revised during the shutdown.

· If everyone riding is from the same household, the chair can be full.

· NEW - Members of different households can ride together with one seat between them (i.e. two people from the same household may ride with one person from a different household with one empty seat between them).

· In special situations when a rider requires assistance to safely ride the lift, this space restriction is not necessary. This includes riders in U12 Programs and younger. They may ride the chairlift with other Program participants and their Instructor/Coach.
